Spiderwood is a light-colored wood often used in hardscapes. Its irregular shapes and unique pieces make spiderwood an excellent choice in combination with stones.

When Spiderwood is placed in the aquarium, fungi can develop, caused by the bacteria in the wood.

This results in an oily substance or a white slime layer. This will disappear after a few weeks. Our advice is to always let the wood "soak" thoroughly first and to change the water regularly.
