Spiderwood is a light-colored wood widely used in hardscapes. Its irregular shapes and unique pieces make spiderwood ideal for combining with stones.

When Spiderwood is placed in an aquarium, fungi can develop due to bacteria in the wood. This results in an oily substance or a white slimy layer. This will disappear after a few weeks. Our advice is to always allow the wood to 'soak in' thoroughly first and to change the water regularly.
