Spiderwood is a light-colored type of wood often used in hardscapes. Its whimsical shapes and unique pieces make spiderwood ideal for use in combination with stones.

When spiderwood is placed in an aquarium, fungi can appear, caused by the bacteria in the wood. This results in an oily substance or a white slimy layer. This will disappear after a few weeks. Our advice is to always thoroughly soak the wood first and regularly change the water.
