Driftwood (Mangrove wood) is a beautiful type of wood for aquariums. Thanks to its intricate nature, you can create a unique underwater world. The branches/roots can optionally be adorned with various mosses and epiphytes.

In combination with aquarium stones, you can create the most natural look. Driftwood will initially float and release tannins that will color the water brown. This can be reduced by soaking the wood for a while first.

Over time, the discoloration of the water will lessen, and you can then place it in the aquarium.
