Driftwood (Mangrove wood) is a beautiful type of wood for aquariums. Thanks to its intricate nature, you can create a unique underwater world. The branches/roots can optionally be covered with various mosses and epiphytes.

In combination with aquarium stones, you create the most natural look. Driftwood will float initially and release tannins that color the water brown. This can be reduced by 'soaking' the wood for a while first.
