Spiderwood is a light-colored type of wood frequently used in hardscapes. Its whimsical shapes and unique pieces make spiderwood exceptionally suitable for combination with stones.

When Spiderwood is placed in an aquarium, fungi can grow due to bacteria in the wood.

This results in an oily substance or a white slimy layer. This will disappear after a few weeks. Our advice is to always thoroughly 'soak' the wood first and regularly change the water.
