Spiderwood is a light-colored type of wood that is widely used in hardscapes. Due to its erratic shapes and unique pieces, spiderwood is ideally suited for use in combination with stones.

When Spiderwood is placed in the aquarium, fungi may develop, caused by the bacteria in the wood.

This results in an oily substance or a white slimy layer. This will disappear after a few weeks. Our advice is to always thoroughly 'soak' the wood first and to change the water regularly.

Due to varying weights, Spiderwood pieces are uniquely priced.
