NO-MITE – 100% organic against mites

Mites are a known problem in fruit fly cultures and can infest complete food cultures in a short time. Especially during warm periods, mites develop rapidly, resulting in contaminated cultures and a sharp decline in the fruit fly population. For many enthusiasts, this meant years of starting over with a clean culture in a different location to prevent re-infestation.

With NO-MITE, this problem is a thing of the past.

NO-MITE is a 100% organic pesticide against various types of mites, including predatory mites and globular mites. Its powerful action is based on diatomaceous earth, supplemented with carefully selected herbs with a natural antiparasitic effect.

Effective action against mites

The microscopic structure of diatomaceous earth damages the exoskeleton of mites, causing them to dehydrate and die. In addition, the added herbs emit a strong odor that deters mites and helps prevent further infestation.

NO-MITE is very effective and at the same time safe to use for humans and animals.

Suitable for multiple applications

In addition to use in fruit fly cultures, NO-MITE is also excellent for use in enclosures of:

• Snakes
• Lizards
• Turtles
• Birds
• Rodents

Simply sprinkle the product over the infested substrate or problem areas to effectively combat mites.

Use of NO-MITE

Place a teaspoon of NO-MITE in an empty jar or cup. Add the fruit flies and shake gently until the flies are completely powdered. This effectively combats the mites.

Would you like to transfer the treated flies to a new food culture? Then use a sieve to remove excess powder. We advise not to put used powder back into the packaging due to the presence of dead mites.

Because NO-MITE is not harmful to fruit flies or your animals, it can be used indefinitely when starting new cultures. However, we advise against feeding NO-MITE directly to your animals.

Extra tip for optimal protection

Also sprinkle the shelf, cupboard or location where the new fruit fly culture is placed with NO-MITE. This prevents any remaining mites from re-infesting the new culture.

NO-MITE also has a strong moisture-absorbing effect. Because hobby rooms often have higher humidity, we advise regularly removing old residues and applying a fresh layer of NO-MITE with each new culture.

NO-MITE has an unlimited shelf life, provided it is stored dry and protected from moisture.
