Driftwood S357

Driftwood (mangrove wood) is a beautiful type of wood for aquariums. Its irregular character allows you to create a unique underwater world. The branches/roots can optionally be covered with various moss species and epiphytes. In combination with aquarium stones, you create the most natural look.

Driftwood will float initially and releases tannins that color the water brown. This can be reduced by first 'soaking' the wood for a while. Over time, the discoloration of the water will lessen, and you can proceed to place it in the aquarium.
