Spiderwood is a light-colored wood type often used in hardscapes. Due to its erratic shapes and unique pieces, spiderwood is perfectly suited for combination with stones.

When Spiderwood is placed in the aquarium, fungi may appear, caused by the bacteria in the wood.

This results in an oily substance or a white slimy layer. This will disappear after a few weeks. Our advice is to always allow the wood to 'soak in' thoroughly first and to change the water regularly.

Due to varying weights, Spiderwood pieces are uniquely priced.
