Spiderwood is a light-colored wood commonly used in hardscapes. Due to its irregular shapes and unique pieces, spiderwood is perfectly suited for use with stones.

When Spiderwood is placed in an aquarium, fungi can appear, caused by bacteria in the wood. This results in an oily substance or a white slime layer. This will disappear after a few weeks. Our advice is to always thoroughly 'soak' the wood first and regularly change the water.
