The SKYLIGHT MID-2 is the impressive successor to the popular MID-30 series. With a completely renewed design, more powerful light output, and the same economical energy consumption, this lamp elevates vivarium lighting to a higher level.
Unlike traditional vivarium and terrarium lights, the MID-2 has been designed from the ground up with a completely different approach.
While many lights solely focus on brightness, and some high-end models – like the SKYLIGHT PRO – consciously sacrifice brightness for higher color rendering (CRI), the MID-2 combines the best of both worlds.
Thanks to a generous amount of deep red light in the spectrum, plant phytochromes are powerfully stimulated.
This causes them to develop rich, colorful protective pigments. At the same time, the carefully composed RGB spectrum creates a breathtaking visual effect: plants and landscapes in your terrarium come alive with deep, intense colors that you previously only saw in nature.
In addition, side glare has been reduced to an absolute minimum. The result? An unprecedentedly comfortable viewing experience where every detail of your vivarium is beautifully showcased.
