Driftwood S340

Driftwood (Mangrove wood) is a beautiful type of wood for aquariums. Thanks to its whimsical character, you can create a unique underwater world.

The branches/roots can optionally be adorned with various moss species and epiphytes. In combination with aquarium stones, you can create the most natural look.

Driftwood will initially float and release tannins that brown the water. This can be reduced by soaking the wood for a while first.

Over time, the discoloration of the water will decrease, and you can proceed with placing it in the aquarium.
